RECYCLS does not compete with other plastic waste recycling methods with the exception of incineration. Recycling by material recovery is the best alternative when possible, and RECYCLS will focus on mixed plastics, dirty and contaminated plastics and end-of-life plastics. RECYCLS will apply material recovery for the plastics not suitable for PTF conversion to produce high-quality plastic materials and low-tech products like railroad sleepers.

The produced carbon-neutral diesel is targeted for marine use where there we see a huge rise in demand with the new UN International Maritime Organization regulations for sulphur content from 2020.
Ships have no current eco-friendlier alternatives, and we offer an alternative with significantly lower CO2- and sulphur emission
High-grade plastic waste will be recovered as plastic materials as much as the input material is suitable, and the rest will be used to produce fuel and railroad sleepers.
Pollution Prevention Initiatives
Supporting plastic pollution prevention initiatives: RECYCLS aims to support environmental organizations and initiatives to prevent plastic pollution financially. Each plant will commit to contributing with a % share of the net profits to such initiatives. RECYCLS will only support local organizations with profit from the operation in the specific country.
